Hello Toleda

I have a weird trouble

After of a few minutes when the O.S is idle (not to be confused with rest) the sound disappear and is necessary connect the jack to the front connector and back to rear connector for recover the sound

I attempted use this guide http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/151504-no-audio-after-sleep-wake-realtek-alc-applehda-fixes.html and think that i did this correctly but did not work

The configuration of rig is

CPU: i7 4770
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z97M-D3H
Graphics card: Intel HD4600
BIOS version: Last version
Bootloader: Clover last version
Audio codec: ALC892
O.S.: Yosemite 10.10.2

The machine is working without DSDT or SSDT

The audio onboard was activated using this guide https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverALC and this View attachment audio_cloverALC-100_v1.0.4d.command.zip

IOReg file View attachment Sergio.ioreg.zip
AppleHDA is native View attachment AppleHDA.kext.zip
Messages kernel sound assertion - no messages about this kernel
Screenshot System preferences - Sound - Output View attachment System preferences - Sound - Output.zip
Screenshot System information - Hardware - Audio - View attachment Sistem information - Hardware - Audio.zip
Clover's boot.log View attachment Sergio's Clover boot.log.rtf.zip
Clover's config.plist View attachment config.plist.zip

The speakers are generic model with a jack of 1/8" and they are connected to rear port color green

The selection in System Preferences --> Sound --> Output is "Internal speakers" Built-in

The HDMI audio is not working but i dont want this

Ideas?

Off topic.
Unknown cause, no known solution.
Only symptom; AU Lab reports an Audio Overload error. The error repeats until sound magically restarts; 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes.
Effects some some 8 and 9 series systems

Other tricks:
1. Select a diffrent audio device in SysPrefs and reselect orignal audio device
2. Kill Activity Monitor/coreaudiod

USB audio has the same issue though less often
HDMI/DP audio has never had the issue

Thanks Toleda

I thought the same, is more un hardware trouble, no solution except enable the HDMI audio

Thanks by your reply

Hi Toleda

As many others I have the following problem - no sound output (the device appear but no playback)
I am with GA-x99-ud4, 5820k, Clover, ACL 1150, MacOS: 10.10.2
Followed the instructions from http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...mporary-guide-os-x-10-10-a-23.html#post909616 using "your" ssdt-1.aml

But I can not understand/apply what you say in Note F.

F. 1150 only: edit config.plist/KernelAndKextPatches/KextsToPatch/
"10.9 or 10.10/AppleHDA/Realtek ALC1150"
1. Clover Configurator/Property List Editor/Replace/
a. Before: <09ec10>
b. After: <0009ec10>
2. TextEdit/Replace
a. Before: CewQ
b. After: AAnsEA==

I am uploading my config.plist. and the iojones

Thanks

P.S.
If / When I apply the x99.plist "fix" from http://www.tonymacx86.com/yosemite-...mporary-guide-os-x-10-10-a-23.html#post909616 I get kernel panic :( so I skipped this step...
It is important to say that my AppleHDAController.kext contains 4 times the pattern of 0x208C is this may cause the KP when the above x99 patch is applied?

script was updated and Note F removed with cloverALC-100_v1.0.4
Reply with link to Note F.
0x208C supports 9 Series, the patch enables 0x208D, x99 audio.
Attach config.plist that KPs.

Hi Toleda,

I tried my best to solve "No output devices found" last couple of days.
GA Z87X-OC
I7 4770K
Crucial Ballistic 16 GB (2*8) 1600
Yosemite
USB Rapoo Wireless headset(Working)
USB Logitech Wireless keyboard,mouse(Working)
3.5mm Logitech Z506 5.1(NOT WORKING)
Codec- Realtek[SUP]®[/SUP] ALC892

I attached Multibeast settings

Installed through Multibeast ALC892 and HDA Enabler Audio ID:1

Thanks in Anvance :)

OK. Then maybe only the KP issue left to be solved.

The attached config.plist is with the applied x99.plist patch and it cause KP at boot
It is important to say that FakeSCP.kext I use is the one from current 7.2 multi beast (FakeSMC v6.14.1364 + Sensors plugins)

My current kext loaded by Clover are:
EFI ▸ EFI ▸ CLOVER ▸ kexts ▸ 10.10
FakeSMC.kext (with sensors to monitor the temps from HWMonitor.app)
NullCPUPowerManagement.kext (to solve speed step issue + XHCI disabled in BIOS)
realtekALC.kext (appeared after your command for audio is executed)
VoodooTSCSync.kext (6cores)

Question: I added the x99.plist to the config.plist AFTER applied the command. Is this a possible reason for the KP?

No, patch will not cause KP.
Remove config.plist/ACPI/DropTables and SortOrder
