You can re-run Multibeast and add the audio option.[/QUOTE said:

Hi Toleda
have you changed the url for MaciASL?
I am reinstalling my system yet again but this time i was going to leave it as 10.9.1 as I could not get the HDMI sound to work in the end

but the URL i was using is https://raw.github.com/toleda/audio_hdmi_8series/master
but it appears to have changed? just recently
It was working today but not now :(
Have you made some amendments to the URL?
where can I find a new compile and A1 patch for my DSDTView attachment System DSDT.zip
kindest regards

Fix:
1. Remove S/L/E/HDAEnabler1.kext or HDAEnabler2.kext
2. Wait 2 minutes (automatic cache rebuild)
3. Restart.

MultiBeast/Audio/ALCxxx HDMI audio Rule:
With HDMI, With DSDT

Tried that.. unfortunately didn't work :(

Running on i7 3770k / z77x-ud5h / gtx 670

Never had to do anything special to get hdmi working on that build. Run multi beast, done. Then I updated to 10.9.2 and all hell broke loose... any other ideas?

10.9.2 HDMI audio: no technical issues
No HDMI audio likely user error after Software Update

The technique for enabling OS X HDMI audio has not changed since 10.6.5. There are no outdated HDMI edited dsdts. In all versions of 10.8 and 10.9, HDMI audio works with the native AppleHDA.

Users break HDMI Audio with MultiBeast/ALC8xx/Without DSDT. The difference between With DSDT and Without DSDT is S/L/E/HDAEnabler1.kext or HDAEnabler2.kext. The enabler kext disables HDMI audio.

Fix:
1. Remove S/L/E/HDAEnabler1.kext or HDAEnabler2.kext
2. Wait 2 minutes (automatic cache rebuild)
3. Restart.

MultiBeast/Audio/ALCxxx HDMI audio Rule:
With HDMI, With DSDT

I have just deleted S/L/E/HDAEnabler1.kext, rebooted and installed MultiBeast/ALC8xx/Without DSDT as you mention.
Right now I have audio working from my GA-P35-DS4 (rev2.0) but unfortunately still no HDMI audio.

Up until 10.9.1 everything worked perfectly with HDAEnabler1.kext + HDMI enabled DSDT after following this post. The problem started since updating to 10.9.2.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4
Graphics card: Gigabyte GT-640
GraphicsEnabler=No (tried "Yes" but system does not boot).
