Hi Sunstream. I'm glad you finally figure it out. It seems I'm replying an old thread (different thread).

My problem is the same with talebabatto, my audio codec was not listed in DPCIManager. Should I give up?
Also the same mobo, MSI gaming pro carbon Z170.

I see Toleda is also here, do you have any suggestion? I'm arrived at

1. DPCIManager/Status/Codec ID and Revision
   1. If Codec ID is blank, OS X audio is not possible
   2. See II. Problem Reporting

So, my Codec ID is blank, but Sunstream works. Was it because I'm using integrated Intel HD 530?

I ran the command after MultiBeast kext injection but still can't find any devices under audio output. I have z170A gaming pro carbon.
The EFI partition needs to be the one where is the Sierra install and not the one in the USB, is it right?
