Hi K_Dua!

My BIOS version is 3402.

Thanks!
I will give this a try as soon as i have some spare time.
I believe my bios version is a lot older than that.

Did you not have any problems with the NVidia drivers ?
I was able to run without the boot pen drive, but only with basic periferals.. and integrated graphics.
I then tried to redo some of the BIOS settings and i f€&&&ed it up bad!
Now i can't even load from the USB unless i format the hackintosh drive first.

If you are running pascal 1050 GPU i should be able to run a 9 series.
...
Did you solve ALL the issues after the BIOS update?

thanks again!

Nope.
Updating the BIOS results into default settings. I believe it must be related to any specific hardware I have into my build.
Nevertheless, follow one of many guides you can find in here.
And yes.
Pascal support is from El Capitan (don't remember driver version, sorry), and following upgrades.
Most important BIOS settings are to not use the Fastboot feature, some DRAM tweaking, nothing hard to do trust me, and disable COM ports, as setup some USB xHCI to be enabled, and some other "cosmetic" ones, enabling or disabling CSM module, etc...
Hope it could be of any help.

PS:
Just search for "Asus z170 Pro Gaming" in the search box, and read read read. ;)

Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but Im running sierra 10.12.6 + NVIDIA GT640 + GA Z77P-D3 for few years now, and didnt really update anything. Every day there would be the nagging "NEW UPGRADE AVAILABLE" button and I would just postpone for another day. Last night I decided to click update and now the display is half working. Websites loads but its blank. I can mouseover stuff, and everything looks normal except it does not render the webpages. some program still works but for the most part, blanks. Tried uninstall the nvidia driver, failed, tried update, failed.

How do I get back my "Screen" without formatting and reinstall from scratch ?

For install nVidia drivers with High Sierra or Sierra with the following config:
Asus P7P55D LE mobo (BIOS, not EFI) + Core i5-750
GeForce 8800 GTX 768Mb Asus:

Install OS-X WITHOUT nvinject (just set it in Clover 4411 at each boot)
Install all OS updates, then the nVidia's drivers
Reboot, And is done !

nVidia's drivers does'nt work if nvinject is set

GeForce GT 210 1024Mb does'nt work with nVidia'drivers, but work with nvinject.
I did'nt try with a GeForce 8400GS or 8600GT (I use nvinject with it)
I don't allready have another more récent GeForce, a 1050 GTX Ti 4Gb will arrive soon

The Rules said:
Profiles need to contain at least your primary system to assist others with helping you

BIOS - Disable Integrated graphics - Set PEG as Primary
Use a digital connection - DVI or HDMI - VGA is not supported.
Boot with nv_disable=1
May need to update Clover
Install web drivers
Update web drivers to ensure that you have the correct version.
Config.plist - Do not inject Intel or Nvidia graphics and no ig-platform-id
Config.plist - Disable SIP completely - CsrActiveConfig 0x67
Edit config.plist - NvidiaWeb = true as per Link

May need to emulate native NVRAM - Problem 6 - Install EmuVariableUefi-64 and RC scripts or install AptioMemoryFix or OsxAptioFixv3
Remove nv_disable=1 from config.plist
May need to install Lilu.kext , LiluFriend and NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext

Potential Problems :
HDMI 2.0 is not supported - Use HDMI 1.4 (or lower) or black screen part way through boot.
If your graphics card has more than one output of the type that you are using then try another one.
Black Screen with MacPro 6,1 or iMac 15 or iMac 17 System Definition

thank you for answer! have fresh install of 10.3.3 with nv_disable=1 without any error. have installed with multibeast + nvram. and installed the right driver for nvidia + Edit config.plist - NvidiaWeb = true as per Link on clover configurator. it wont change to nvidia driver or start looping on startup and only with -v booted without any changes. have tried lilu.kext 1.2.2 and nvidiagraphicsfixup.kext 1.2.2 the same loop. may you have any idea?
