macOS Native CPU/IGPU Power Management

<SOLVED> Dear All,

After applying Plugintype=yes my machine will not sleep automatically anymore. The slider also disappeared rom energy saver. Before everything sleep wise was working fine. Somebody knows what might have caused this?

Solution:

I activated the slider again in IIOplatforpluginfamily.kext. This gave me the slider back. Then I reverted to old clover settings and all was well again.

A lot more steps required, what else did you do?

Post #1:
Installation
  1. Backup system
Restore backup
Thank you for the reply. I followed the Clover setting method. Here are my files I recorded during the process. Im not sure if I completed it the right way. X86PlatformPlugin is there however.

Can you please let me know if what I did was right?

Regards,

Wim

The bottom graph is my current one. Seems pretty stable. Going up and down according to usage..

Hi toleda, quick question.

If I use platform-id 0x19120000, I can get Intel 530 graphics to show up in my Graphics/Display section on hardware information. I get full working npm. But in Final Cut Pro X, I get slow render times and garbled video output. (BIOS PCIE, Internal Graphics Enabled)

If I use platform-id 0x19120001, I no longer get Intel 530 graphics to show up in Graphics/Display but my Final Cut Pro issues are fixed. I also no longer get IGPU@2 > AGPM in IOReg. (Hardware encoding is a Yes though) (BIOS PCIE, Internal Graphics Enabled)

Is it not possible to have native power management and use a headless/connectorless platform-id? Am I stuck between choosing native power management or final cut pro?

Sorry to bother you again, I noticed I was using an old intelpowergadget. SO I installed the last one, but one reading is really strange, wonder if it's related to PM ?

On my other hack, the reading is normal, I've attached screenshot of both for comparison purpose. First one is the working one on the other hack, and second is the strange reading on the hack I've posted about in this topic

Off topic

Expected, no display connectors

Yes, native behavior
Am I stuck between choosing native power management or final cut pro?
Are you interested in maximum resources when running FCP? If yes, there is no conflict.
