Hi all

I am up and running my HP 2570P *Mavericks* using this method
Guide To Install Mavericks with Clover Bootloader

Everything works fine except - off course - Wi-Fi ;)
Borrowed Azurewave AR5B95 Care from my sons Asus U35J, it worked the first time I booted, but
suddenly after shutting down and restarting, it stopped working.
The icon is shown in task bar, but when I activate it, the icon changes like its gonna connect, but I doesn't connect and the icon become grey :banghead:
Do I need some sort of kext to get it going.

Thanks in Advance
/Sponte

Following that guide, AR5B95 (AR9285 WiFi) should work without anything additional. Make sure it is turne d on (some laptops have a switch or button).

Thank you for your fast reply.
I reinstalled the AR5B95 card, but now disabling Bluetooth first, and now I have connection :headbang:
... but no BT - it doesn't anyway I just use my GMYLE.

Best regards

AR5B195 is a combo card with AR9285 WiFi + AR3011 BT.
AR5B95 has no bluetooth, just AR9285 WiFi.

Thanks for the info
Actitivated BT again this morning, and connected directly to my BT-speakers.

Now I'm just gonna check VGA-out later today, and find out how to set it up

VGA out never works, use Displayport-to-VGA adapter.

Ah, okay, thanks then I'm not gonna waste my time on this - actually I don't need it at the moment ;)

By the way what is difference between these two guides

or this

The later one is much more refined for HP Probook, while the former is general.

@RehabMan: Can you rename my guide to "Guide To Install Mavericks on HP ProBook with Clover UEFI"

Your first clue about the difference should be that the first is in the desktop forum, therefore specific to desktops. The second is in the ProBook Laptop forum, therefore specific to HP Probook/Elitebook laptops.
