@cmn699 I have gotten my first error and I'm not sure what this actually means.

once I try to boot into the hackintosh usb, it loads normally showing the apple logo. Once it has completed I immediately get this black screen bellow:

^^^^^^ What could I have done incorrectly ?

Are you trying to tell me that the MacOS Sierra USB installer was selected from the Clover Boot Menu and you pressed the ENTER key you see an Apple Logo and then it later on shows this "Entry Prohibited" icon?
If that is the case, once you reach the "Clover Boot Manager Screen" , using the arrow key of your keyboard, navigate to the "Options" menu shown below the icon for the USB installer. (see attached image)

  • If you have inserted the USB installer to the Front panel USB port, take it out and insert it to any available USB 2.0 port in the rear of the Computer Chassis.
  • Boot the Computer with recommended BIOS options
  • Reach the Clover Boot manager Screen
  • Locate "Options" menu below the USB Installer disk icon and reach there using the arrow key.
  • From "Options" go down to and type in the line of "Boot Args:-" -v dart=0 kext-dev-mode=1 (=Boot flags or Boot Arguments)
  • Using the Arrow key go back and Select the Sierra USB installer and ENTER to boot.
  • Watch the verbose Boot screen and take and upload image if you see the above prohibit screen or any other text based error screen

@cmn699 Thanks dude that helped. I passed the black screen and have successfully installed macOS Sierra, although i do not know what to use for multibeast. I have tried multi beast once and the display shutsoff halfway through boot. My display drivers are not working as well. Oh and which clover option should I use as I cannot boot without the usb.

  1. You need to check your MoBO SPECS from Asus Site and find out what drivers (kexts in Mac term) are for LAN, Audio etc Multibeast has to install. [Example if ASUS says LAN (Ethernet ) is Intel xxxxx, then in Multibeast go to the Drivers>Network section>Intel and then choose . I have found "IntelMausiEthernet v2.2.0 " listed there better but you may choose the one that may say AppleIntel......" and if of not satisfied, later switch to IntelMausi....]
  2. Until you install successfully "Clover bootloader in UEFI mode from M Beast and and install the proper System Definitions (imac14.2 preferred) make required choices in config.plist the System disk installation is NOT complete. You need to keep booting through your USB installer which is well equipped with all Booting files to pass them on to System Disk from Clover Boot Manager screen and and standby the system disk to assist if needed until the Sierra System disk (HDD) safely reaches the Desktop.
  3. Multibeast, unfortunately, does not have the Nvidia Graphics Kext for your GFX card. I have given you the Link to get that. Read from Tonymac Graphics section of the Forum about the use of any Downloaded Webdriver . If you encounter issue explain it in detail here to get the help. Always supplement text with images for clarification.
  4. To edit the config.plist you need to get access to the CLOVER folder inside your Sierra System Disk
  5. CLOVER folder is inside its parent Folder named EFI
  6. EFI folder is in a special "Partition" inside the Sierra System Disk called "EFI partition" ( just like the file structure inside the Sierra USB Installer Disk)
  7. You cannot find the EFI partition from the System disk that was mounted when you ran MB to install Clover on the System Disk because you rebooted and made the EFI partition to get 'unmounted' (= cleared from the desktop)
  8. Therefore you need to 're-mount' the EFI Partition on the desktop and then using Mouse clicks navigate to its containing EFI Folder >CLOVER>config. plist file+ other important FOLDERs containing vital files for booting safely and passing control to OS kernel.
    • In summary here is the pathway you have to navigate> EFI>EFI>CLOVER>config.plist kext folder 10.12 or Other (folder) for Sierra kexts ( most importantly Fakesmc.kext and somewhat important file IntelMausiEthernet) and drivers64UEFI folder (contents very important for the disk to reach from BIOS screen to Clover Boot Manager screen(aka Clover boot screen)
  9. To mount the EFI and edit config.plist download and install and launch Clover Configurator -Vibrant edition from : http://mackie100projects.altervista.org/changelog-version-4-33-0. If you need help about CC-V use, ask in the Forum
  10. If any of the above are not clear , please ask questions clearly,.:) Good luck

If you have not already set your "Security & Privacy" in "System Preferences" to "Allow apps downloaded from "Anywhere" radio button dotted, you need to do so to enable you to download and use non-apple Applications like Multibeast, Clover Configurator -Vibrant (CC-V) etc. Otherwise each time you try to download and install an App, you will be bugged by annoying prompts warning you against!
Easiest way to stop those annoying warnings, is through the Terminal command "sudo spctl"
Launch terminal from Applications>Utilities>Terminal
> sudo spctl --assess --master-disable
password:
There wont be any output displayed on Terminal screen; but in "Security and Privacy" you will get (.)Anywhere. You can now download 3rd party software without the warnings!

To assist you or others requiring info about the use of CC-V , I have uploaded some images.

To easily find your disk icons on desktop (right side) use "Finder"> "Preferences" check boxes [ ] (see image uploaded)
