Asus MAXIMUS VII HERO

Graphics
Gigabyte Gaming RX 580 8G
Mobile Phone
  1. Android
  2. iOS
My PC:
i7 4790k
Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB 1866MHz
AsuS ROG MAXIMUS VII HERO
Asus GTS 450 DI/1GD5

I created a High Sierra 10.13.1 USB installer using Unibeat with options
1. UEFI Boot Mode
2. Instert nVidia
No additional kexts were added.

BIOS Settings:
XHCI Handoff, EHCI Handoff = Enabled
VT-d = Disabled
CFG Lock = Disabled
Graphics Controller = PEG (There is no special option to complete disable my iGPU)

The Boot:
I booted with -v and the installer gets stuck at the error on the image.

I created another USB with Unibeast. This time, i didn't inject nVidia. While booting two errors came up :
1. WindowServer only ran for 0 seconds
2. gIOScreenLockStateError3
I noticed a few line like - iographics flag 0x43, DSMOS has arrived.. Pics of this boot are in the zip file uploaded.

I've tried out nearly 100 different BOOT settings nothing seems to work.
Please Help.
Thanks.

make sure the config.plist in the EFI folder has no unwanted ACPI "fixes". I unchecked them all for the install.

If you get a verbose boot error that you cannot solve, then, along with that verbose boot screen image, upload the Compressed CLOVER folder from the disk that has suffered a boot failure and as you have correctly done, the list of BIOS Options chosen for that failed boot.

Let me restate that:

In case of a verbose boot screen error: Upload to the Forum 3 things:

  1. Verbose boot screen image
  2. CLOVER folder as compressed file
  3. List of all BIOS options chosen for that boot.
Boot errors can only be safely interpreted knowing items 2 & 3.
Any other advice is a coin toss unless it is a unique well known error that does not have multiple causes.

Only image needed is the one that has occurred right at the time of posting and not the ones that might have happened previously during different trials.

For any newcomers to Hackintosh, one device they should always have is a working Camera to take Screen images from BIOS to the Desktop to share with those who can help remotely through a Forum. Written descriptions however good the language skill may be, will pale in comparison to a clear screen image of what has lead to the post for help.

It goes without saying that a post without the hardware specs(MoBo/CPU/Graphics) in Personal Details or Build Signature is just wasting valuable forum page.
