Hello guys,

So I've just upgraded a hackintosh a friend built me from lion to mavericks. After successfully installing mavericks and using multi beast it now won't boot. I have used the DSDT and this mac was working previously before.

I'm getting the "apple intel cpu power management kernel panic" P-state stepper error.

Any ideas?

In the bios, disable the speed-step or whatever the name you have for your mobo. Its the setting that allows each core to perform at different speeds depending on the task.

Then once you've booted in, go into multibeast and in the customize part, uncheck generate states or cpu states, which is normally selected by default.

Install multibeast and repair permissions. Restart and re-enable the setting you turned off earlier in the bios.

Best of luck.
