Hello fellow hackintosh users

it's now time for me to upgrade I have a fully working hackintosh that I built from a Hp xw6400 workstation.

my current specs are as follows

12gb ddr2 ecc ram
2x 2.33ghz Intel xeons e5 series
120gb ssd
numerius other hard drives
and a 2gb zotac gts graphics card

what I want is a newer setup with haswell and socket 1150 if that's the best what I need to know is what motherboard and cpu combination can I get for around £200 that is fully supported by OS X thanks for looking!

For a budget of 200 pounds I would get this http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00J2LIFDC/?tag=tonymacx86-21 for
120 and then a Gigabyte mobo like:http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00K9R1MYW/?tag=tonymacx86-21 For 68 pounds. Still have 12 left over to put toward a CPU cooler.

Hello thanks for reply

does that board have full support for OS X? Audio ect so I should have no issues installing latest os

Yes, any board from our Buyer's Guide will have supported onboard audio and networking.
Just select the kexts you need from Multibeast when you run that after the install of OS X.

Here's another mATX option if you want a smaller case for your build.

It would go 8 pounds over budget, but if you want a smaller footprint for your desk it may be worth it.

thanks for the help! tbh form factor doesn't bother me I'm looking into building the computer into a used mac pro case!

mATX is generally a better fit in the G5 and Mac Pro cases. Easier to make it all fit with the mods
that are needed.
