Hello,
I have successfully installed OS X 10.11.1 on my November 2015 Build (Z97 PC Mate, i3-4170, GTX 650). Unfortunately, the computer reboots right after waking from sleep, and after waiting for it to startup, it says: Your computer restarted because of a problem (Kernel Panic). I have looked at all the other threads, but they haven't resolved the problem. I have also installed NullCPUPowerManagement.kext, but it doesn't affect anything.

Does anyone know how to fix this frustrating problem? I'd want the computer to have the ability to sleep.

Thanks,
TonyTech86:beachball:

P.S.: Also, here's the Kernel Panic log:

Why are using MacPro3,1? You could give a try to iMac14,2, which I think is the most compatible with modern hardware.

Remove NullCPUPowermanagement.kext don't need it. Are you using a DSDT and SSDT? which version of OSX are you using? Which Bootloader?

1) I don't have it installed, I tried installing it to see if it would solve the problem, but I then removed it since it didn't help at all.

2) No, I am not using either DSDT or SSDT.

3) OS X El Capitan 10.11.1

4) Clover EFI Version 3320

My computer was giving me that error message every time i booted. It was due to an old kp being saved in in the nvram.
I had to open up terminal and type in "sudo nvram -c" to clear all variables from my nvram.

This is not the case for me. My computer actually restarts upon waking from sleep.

When I boot up, it tells me that a Kernel Panic has occurred ONLY IF I have just woke the computer up and it went through the boot cycle right after that.

Someone, please find a fix for this problem... I've been waiting for A WEEK for a solution...

Sounds like the infamous reset after wake problem; you can check:

http://www.tonymacx86.com/general-help/148289-memory-corrupted-after-longer-sleep-16.html

Myself, I've been plagued by this for close to a year (with a Z97 and an H97m Gigabyte mobo), and tried all solutions. My sense is that this is really a hardware problem, not likely to be resolved with Clover, DSDT edits, or what have you.

Please have a look yourself, though and, who knows, maybe you can fix it.

Take care.

Hi Guys,

I thought let me share my recent experiences.

My iMac were working flawlessly (10.11.1 and 10.11.2) without having to use darkwake setting in clover arguments.

Only after updating to 10.11.3 I started having sleep (panic) issues.

I have implemented darkwake=8 and it seems to work without having the dreadful kernel panic issue.

Regards
Mike
