There are some issues with Monterey and Bluetooth in general and that's either using the onboard intel chip or a Broadcom card like I think you have. It has to do with Apple rebuilding the Bluetooth stack for Monterey and existing kexts not working. There has been some back and forth about it here which you can go back a couple of pages and read about. We found using a newer version of the BlueToolFixup.kext took care of the incompatibilities and everything is working again.Hello,
been inactive and stuck with OC 6, haven't ready this thread for almost a year (got into FPV Drones, haven't stopped flying and building since early this year)
Is Wifi and BT now working seamlessly on the NUC8? I have a wifi/BT card on the NVMe slot, works perfectly, wondering if its worth using the NUC 8 wifi instead.
Also, any recs on how to upgrade OC 6 to 7? my OC 6.0 is perfect, everything works flawlessly. I tried fresh install of Monterrey on OC 6, but no luck.
Thanks in advance.
If you are interested in running Monterey using OpenCore then it requires version 7.4, the most current release. I’ve uploaded my version without the kexts needed to enable a Broadcom add in WiFi Bluetooth card on page 89.
