[Guide] Installing El Capitan on Spectre x360 (Skylake)

Oh yes I forgot. But does that really
matter since we are trying to install El Capitan on a laptop.

Without it, we would have no CPU support and no support for the 100-series chipset. And without future SKL Macs coming that use SKL graphics, we would have no graphics support either. Apple provides the software only for the hardware they are using or plan to use.

Will the instructions be any different with the i7-6560u/Iris 540 version?

Hi, I've bought a x360 15" and I'm new to this topic. Does Hackintosh help with the Touchpad. I'm not satisfied with the Touchpad in Windows.

I followed the guide for modifying the DVMT through the UEFI and it worked, no more artifacts. The guide I followed is here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/g...etting-dvmt-in-insydeh20-bios-laptops.165104/

The only thing I did different is that I obtained the .bin file from the BIOS upgrade I had just installed.

I have everything working on mine, except my internal screen won't wake from sleep, the computer does wakes because I can use it with an external display plus the internal screen backligght brightness can be adjusted but no image shows. If anyone can help with these I will be eternally grateful. @RehabMan

Quality of the trackpad experience depends on which trackpad you have in the laptop. Just guessing it is Synaptics, which is usually stable. But hack trackpads are not fully featured and are simply not as good as a real Mac.

And you should have in ACPI/patched:
