You can try AsusSMC - it has HID device support for Mojave. Thanks mate. The battery status is working. The only thing that is left is the keyboard brightness toggle. Since I am on Mojave the Rog HID doesn't work. Any idea how to make that work?
AsusSMC works for rest of the keys except keyboard backlight. Can this be patched manually? You can try AsusSMC - it has HID device support for Mojave.
In my experience it hasn't ever worked, but it appears most of the problems are related to HID on Catalina, so it's worth a try. Make sure you have an extra USB keyboard lying around if something goes wrong.
As @Mja123 said, you'll need to create the config yourself, and copy the kexts and patches. You can use the Dortania guides, which I find to be the easiest to follow and best written.is this only for CLover ?
i would like assistance in OpenCore please
It's not possible. Sorry. The keyboard is HID/USB, which can not be patched via ACPI (in the same way that PS2 can).No I mean fix this manually by patching DSDT and mapping the keys and without using any asusSMC

The most you can do is map the keyboard's port so it "works", and then use AsusSMC in HID mode, or ROG-HID to get it functional.
