after a faulty HDMI cable scared me i got the system up and running with no issues, luxmark worked, preview works.

I am running 10.9.5
I installed NVIDIA drivers.
I have an HD4000
motherboard in ASUS Z77
I have mined crypto currency using CUDA and run openCL benchmarks successfully

I have tried portal 2, Sim city and TF2 And they all crash about 10 seconds after the game starts (player is in game not launching application)

Please help

Switching graphics card to the lower PCIe port on the motherboard fixed this issue.

I am using a both integrated and desecrate graphics. (hd4000 and GTX 780)

I am now receiving a strange glitch in safari with regions of the screen that do not update unless i select them. It does not happen when i boot the computer without a screen plugged into the motherboards HDMI port, but i would very much like to use that.

any ideas?

Did you check your graphic card is under which category ?
GraphicEnabler=Yes or No?
Also, I disabled my intel HD graphic, did you try that yet???

Its graphics enabler = no, and disbling the hd4000 does fix the safari screen flickering, but I really need the acceleration, for airplay and other things.
