Graphics Help... HD 4000 Graphics and HD 4600

Okay. So I have been doing research here and there and I cant quite find my answer.
So my problem is, Id like to use this processor:

and it uses HD 4600 graphics.

Now, I noticed that in the Graphics card Database ( http://www.tonymacx86.com/wiki/index.php/Graphics_Card_Database ) that HD 4600 graphics are not mentioned. I need to know if, does HD 4600 graphics work on Snow Leopard, AND Mavericks?

My plan is to install Snow Leopard, do the combo update, and upgrade to mavericks. When I upgrade to mavericks, i plan to install a GTX 640. The card:

Your plan should work. You won't have full QE/QI graphics acceleration in Snow Leopard, but sine you intend to go directly to Mavericks, you should be ok.
