Hello!

I'm now trying to find the proper settings for multibeast for 10 hours now and I'm becoming mad :(

I7 3,6 GHz 4790 LGA 1150
My mother card is a Gigabyte Z97X UD5H
my graphic card is a Gigabyte GTX770 4GB
4x8 GB Ballistix sport DDR3 1600
OSX Mavericks

I have some troubles :
1/ I have no sound in speakers from the mothercard. I tried even when it seems that sound work from the OS, actually I have no sound in speakers. I choose ALC892 and ALC1150 without success
2/ The second issue is the most important because I built this hackintosh for edit purposes. Indeed I can read H264 videos under VLC but not in quicktime for instance. Videos are freezing on quicktime or youtube/vimeo.
On premiere pro CS6 and CC, I can't have any video playback I can browse it but I can't read it in realtime.
This is super annoying for video editing...

I really need some help on this, is it a matter of graphic cards supported by those softwares or is it a matter or multibeast settings?

On finalcut pro 7 I have no problem for editing but I used only pro res videos because H264 is not supported by FCP7.

Thanks for you help.

well I succeed in almost everything thanks to those multibeast settings

I have sound and everything is ok with video playback but I can't control the volume of the sound thanks to the keyboard or on the top.

Besides I can't use GPU acceleration on Premiere, maybe this is a CUDA issue. I updated my CUDA and trying to add my card but it still doesn't work.

I have the same combo, I don't get it why are you using ALC898 for Audio, if this motherboard has ALC1150 and the way to enable Audio for this motherboard (was not supported yet on multibeast) I found today that is now supported on Multibeast 6.3.1 but anyway you can read this thread http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/134002-quick-fix-onboard-audio-9-series-motherboards.html

To enable CUDA, on CS6 the way I did it was using gpu sniffer and then added the name on cuda_supported_card.txt, for CC I don't know how it's done, and yeah i have the CUDA drivers installed.

Well I used CUDA and this method below but this is not working
Premiere Pro CS6

1) Need to run GPUSniffer. Open Terminal Window and copy and paste this command:

/Applications/Adobe\ Premiere\ Pro\ CS6/Adobe\ Premiere\ Pro\ CS6.app/Contents/GPUSniffer.app/Contents/MacOS/GPUSniffer

2) Open Terminal Window and copy and paste this command:

sudo nano /Applications/Adobe\ Premiere\ Pro\ CS6/Adobe\ Premiere\ Pro\ CS6.app/Contents/cuda_supported_cards.txt

it seems that there is a problem with GPUSniffer.

now it's working with adobe premiere CC thanks to a quick change in the cuda file.

I still have the audio control issue but this is not a big issue
