Please help.
I am building a computer for my senior project at my high school and i just received my last part in the mail today. I put it all together and it runs amazing, with one small problem, the audio drivers are not working. I tried re-installing the drivers from multibeast (without DSDT Realtek ALC892 along with HDA Enabler) and that didn't work. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z87-HD3 and my graphics card is EGVA NVidia Geforce GTX 760 and im almost 100% that the ALC892 is the correct driver i am supposed to use. i also tried downloading the drivers from here (http://www.realtek.com.tw/Downloads...n=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false&Downloads=true), still no sound after installation. I have tried using both HDMI cords and VGA cords, with no success on either one. After i had read that people have problems with sound over HDMI, i tried this fix (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1499797), but this again didn't work. As a last resort, i loaded the CD ROM that came with the motherboard into my Macbook and copied the audio drivers fine onto a USB, and then used Winebottler to run the setup.exe and try to get the drivers onto my computer, but still no success. I am desperate and would really appreciate any advice you can give. Thank you.

According to this
http://m.gigabyte.com/product/product.aspx?pid=4489&c=105000000
it uses alc892 audio chip but to confirm it you can look at the motherboard and just look for the Realtek chip have a look at this thread and follow post one
http://www.tonymacx86.com/audio/112461-mavericks-no-audio-realtek-alc-applehda-guide-42.html
however you will have to do some DSDT edits to get the audio over the hdmi you might wanna make sure you don't already have audio over the headphone jack
you might also wanna have a look at the first post in this thread

it is important to set the Onboard Audio to Auto.
