Hi Guys, I built my customac with Mojave following the installation guide here and it seems to be running smoothly except for the audio. All of the output devices show in system preferences, and I can get sound from bt headphones and the front headphone port but not from internal speakers or...
I'm having an issue with noise/interference on a modmic through a 3.5mm jack. I've got my hackintosh set up to use AppleALC (after a lot of battling) and everything seems to work OK apart from sound through my headphones being a bit quieter than usual (which isn't an issue) and my...
Hi guys and thanks for help. I had configured my hackintosh well also for audio (ALC 892 on msi Z390M Mortar). I had 5.1 out (green+black+yellow), headphones (front) out and multiple HDMI out. It was very well since I have the idea of installing kexts on L/E instead of EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other. I...
Hi, for same reason, I have connect monitor with hdmi port, instead of DP port. Before that, with DP port, everything work fine as well as the sound. But after switch to HDMI port, the voice is cracking, look likes some frame lazy. I recorded some section in music for better elaboration:
Hi, I tried to install Mac OS on my computer, but audio doesn't work.

First I'd like to thank everyone in the tonymacx86's forum. You guys are doing a great job sharing successful experiences and difficulties, as I'll do now. They save some good time!
So, first of all I'll try to keep this thread simple and if you need any extra info I'll be glad to help.
I just updated to 10.14 and got a "no output devices found" under the sound panel with the settings app.
I'm on a GA-Z170-X with ALC892 audio chipset.
Attached is my current clover plist config file.
P.S. It works with VoodooHDA-2.9.0-Clover-V12
I tried tried to enable the Audio on my laptop with the AppleALC.
I installed the AppleALC.kext and the Lilu.kext in Clover/kexts/other
and set the layout-id in Clover to 1.
I also patched the dsdt with the IRQ patch.
All audio devices are recognised but they make no sound.
I've reinstalled to Mojave today (after having Sierra for a long time)
and I can't figure out how to fix the audio.
My motherboard uses ALC892, its an H97M-D3H board. [i5 4460-GTX750Ti if it matters somehow]
I've tried using KextBeast with the kext I have on my old Hackintosh install...
I'm running macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 (with security update). On Sierra (10.12) I had no issues with ALC892 audio on my ASUS P8Z68-V PRO GEN3 motherboard. But since High Sierra (10.13) my audio stops working randomly and I have to reboot. This happens for no reason whatsoever. I would be...
I'm sorting out my HDMI Audio and the last time I used Lilu.kext and AppleALC previously, I needed the ALC892 directory inside /Clover/Kexts/Other in order to run audio_cloverALC-130_v0.5.command and audio_cloverHDMI-130_v0.8.command. Anyway, I just installed ALC892 using Multibeast HighSierra...
for a limited time I need to use my integrated audio and it behaves erraticaly. After boot it usually works fine for a few minutes and than sound stops. Time to time sound appears and diappears without an obvious reason.
Does anybody have a similar experience and a solution for that...
I have strange problem with sound (Realtek ALC892) on High Sierra 10.13.1
Used audio_cloverALC-130_v0.3.command to install audio.
And randomly have working sound but after shutdown or reboot sound is distorted.
And again after few reboots/shutdowns all is OK with sound.
This is very...
Hi everyone !

Hello guys, I recently upgraded my build (fresh install) and I'm having some audio issues with my new motherboard and Sierra
When the computer comes back from sleep the audio is extremely low, at first, I thought I had no audio at all, only if I crank up the volume I can hear it barely. I...
Description of audio problem
I did a clean install of High Sierra last weekend and noticed that sound was not working anymore. After following Toleda's before you install guide and AppleHDA Realtek audio guide with cloverALC method I still see no audio devices in my settings.
I recently purchased a new monitor and it had a pretty neat feature. On top of hdmi audio, it has a headphone pass through so I won’t have to plug in my headphones in the back (cos my front panel audio is not present...long story). I followed the top pinned post from toleda in HDMI Audio...
