Gigabyte Z690 Aero G + i5-12600K + AMD RX 6800 XT

If I understand correctly, the patch declares the correct number of cores and effective threads as 2*cores.
So for i7-12700K it should be:
Code:
Base: _cpuid_set_info
Find: B9 35 00 00 00 0F 32
Replace: B8 18 00 0C 00 31 D2
Count: 2
Comment: Set core_count = 0x0C, thread_count = 0x18
Identifier: kernel

The monthly Acidanthera message from vit9696 will be a very, very interesting reading!

I made that change 1 minute before this post! :)

** Geekbench Score with all P-cores, all E-cores, and HT enabled **

We can see that multi-core score has increased from 9426 to 10517. This is an increase of 12%.

This is the score with only P-cores and Hyper Threads:

Where would we be if we listened to all the naysayers?

What benefit to society do the naysayers provide?

Safety ... For example going over Niagara Falls in a Barrel.

But someone has been there, done that, and lived to tell... :)

To be fair, the naysayers provide balance. And sometimes a naysayer's words are motivation to prove them wrong.

... annoyingly, they probably said it was "fun" too!

Bet they still couldn't find DDR5 RAM at a decent price though ...

EDIT: Sorry, that was me naysaying, I think!

LOL! Someone is going to hold up a couple of DDR5 modules they found just lying around at MicroCenter at regular MSRP. :)

In full load (is more visible) 4 e-cores are not working. @CaseySJ you can see this also in benchmark page, I have 12 cores 20 threads, you 8 cores 14 treads (2 doesn't work?). Look at processors activity when running Cinebench 23.
