Please let us know if that solve the problem…
Okay I think I've got it to be stable now. Did a few hours of Aperture 3 and randomly played youtube vids in the background with no issues.
I wasn't taking down notes of what I did, but here's what I *think* solved the issue.
1. added the npci=0x3000 darkwake=0 string in your org.chameleon.Boot.plist
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
<plist version="1.0">
<dict>
<key>EthernetBuiltIn</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GenerateCStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GeneratePStates</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>GraphicsEnabler</key>
<string>No</string>
<key>Kernel</key>
<string>mach_kernel</string>
<key>Kernel Flags</key>
<string>npci=0x3000 darkwake=0</string>
<key>Legacy Logo</key>
<string>Yes</string>
<key>Theme</key>
<string>LoginToLion</string>
<key>Timeout</key>
<string>2</string>
<key>UseKernelCache</key>
<string>Yes</string>
</dict>
</plist>
2. Download and install OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2 Supplemental Update
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1600
3. Download and install MacBook Air and MacBook Pro Update 2.0
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1609
My system definition is Mac Pro 3,1 so when I tried to install it would say this update is not applicable for your machine, so I changed my system definition to one of the MacBook Pro's restart, install, restart, use MB to redefine as Mac Pro 3,1, restart.
I think after this my sound driver disappeared so I reinstalled that using MB and that's it. Hope this helps.
