Motherboard not recognising keyboard at BIOS

Recently have been building my hackintosh with:
GA-X79S-UP5 motherboard and
GTX670 gigabyte graphics card.

We've connected to the samsung monitor and the have got to the post screen. However the keyboard is not recognised and we cannot proceed. We here a faint clicking sound whenever we press the keys on the keyboard and lights show up definitely showing it has power at least.

It's your GPU!
You have to update your bios to F4. Borrow an older GPU to update your bios.
