Hi everyone,

i got my new (2nd) hack running perfectly using unibeast & multibeast post install - what a fantastically smooth install, everything works except:

I am running a GA-H170N-WIFI board and am using integrated graphics (i5 6500) Intel HD 530. As I am limited to HDMI 1.4 i have decided to go with a 2560x1440 resolution.

After installing Intel HD 530 through Multibeast i can only run my monitor in Full HD 1080p @60Hz.

Is there something I am missing?

Best,
Sebastian

Have you tried this? https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...grated-graphics-working-as-of-10-11-4.188891/

i tried the 'EDIT: Multibeast, intel 530'. Before that i actually had the full resolution but horrible refresh and i could not change it (also tried cscreen). Then i used multibeast for hd 530 and now i am fully stuck on 1080p, and have some other graphics issues (flaring, flickering,..).
could it be related to system definition? i am using iMac 17.1 as this seems to be yhe only onr with skylake/int el hd

For what it's worth, I'm running a Core i5 6600k using HD530 to an Acer G247HYU 2K monitor via HDMI @
2560 x 1440 @ 60 Hz.

I didn't do anything special to get it to run at 2k. I had a 1080p monitor before and just bought and switched to the 2k monitor. Simply plugged it in and turned the PC on and it was recognized and configured itself for the higher resolution.

i did a reinstall and now i have the proper resolution. but: it seems like I have a really bad refresh rate, dont know what to do about it. a lot of flickering.. i cannot change it in system settings

Update:

I installed 530 Support through MultiBeast again. Result:

1: 2560x1440 resolution disappeared again, stuck with 1080p once more

2: flicker issues, resolved with:
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/skylake-intel-hd-530-graphics-glitch-fix.206410/

3: suddenly HD7000 instead of HD530

any ideas what i could try to get back to full res?

Best,
Sebastian

The solution is in a 150 page thread... any help would be appreciated in narrowing it down.
