Hi,
my hackintosh freezes when i connect USB drives and i have always to reboot.
What can be the problem? When it freezes I can't see the code of the issue, i don't have black screen with strings of character, I notice it's freezing 'cos the mouse pointer is motionless.

I've another problem, when i boot the computer i have to reboot it lot of time before it arrives to chameleon screen. MOBO says A0 when i have that issue.

Thanks for reading and sorry for my english, i'm italian and there's not an italian forum about hackintosh.

This is the configuration:
Gigabyte Z87x-OC Force
Intel i7 4790K
16GB G.Skill RipjawsX
Gigabyte Radeon R9 280x OC Windforce
2x SSD Samsung 840 EVO (One Hackintosh, One Windows)
1x HDD Seagate Barracuda (Only for datas)

Check your BIOS if you have xHCI mode on Auto, EHCI and xHCI enabled.

Do you have GenericUSBXHCI.kext in your /System/Library/Extensions/ folder?
If so remove it and rebuild kernel cache.

Boot with -v boot flag and post a picture of the screen when it hangs or panics.

I always boot with -v but when i have the panic the monitor is totally black, i have to reboot again and again and when i can see something it boot normally.

How can i rebuild kernel cache?

Code:
sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions
sudo kextcache -Boot -U /

Thanks, I'll update the topic if I have the same problem again.

I still have the boot problem, but not the one about freezing. Idk what to do, i can't see the log during boot because the monitor is black.
