[FIX] HD4200/HD4400/HD4600/HD5600 on 10.11+

it's normally to get this ??
kext-dev-mode allowing invalid signature -67062 0xFFFFFFFFFFFEFA0A for kext FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext

Normal. In fact, you'll get that for all kexts that are not signed.

If you follow my guide, you'll see many more such messages....

okay now i have a problem with clover
no partition show to select which to boot ??

CPU: i3 4150 HD4400 Desktop

MB: ASUS H97-PRO GAMER

OS: 10.11.2

I installed the kexts by kext wizard; FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext in /System/Library/Extensions, EFI/Clover/kexts and changed the config.plist file (IntelGFX=0x04128086 & ig-platform-m:0x0d22003) from successful Yosemite.

I did't use DSDT.

However, I'm stuck at bootloader and won't boot in safe mode.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks a lot!

Hello RehabMan. Thank you for your work and tutorials. I have desktop PC and laptop with Mac OS X 10.11, works superb.

Now I have mini desktop with Core i3-4020Y (Intel HD 4200 GT2: HDMI and VGA output, I am using HDMI). I have installed 10.11 (with IntelGFX=0x0). I does not use DSDT. FakePCIID.kext and FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext installed. But I can not get graphics to work, only VESA mode.

IntelGFX=0x04128086 - stuck at Apple logo infinity boot (system is working and doing something in verbose mode, but never get Login screen)
IntelGFX=0x04128086 and ig-platform-id=0x0a260006 - stuck at Apple logo infinity boot
IntelGFX=0x04128086 and ig-platform-id=0x0d220003 - stuck at Apple logo infinity boot
IntelGFX=0x04128086 and ig-platform-id=0x0a260005 - stuck at Apple logo infinity boot

CSM Enable/Disble did not help.
SMBIOS Mac Pro/Mac mini/Macbook Air/Macbook Pro did not help.

Any other IntelGFX or 0x0 - system boots normaly, but only VESA mode. About Mac shows Intel HD Graphics 4200 7MB (CSM Enabled) and 14MB (CSM Disabled).

Do I need to try another ig-platform-id? Or may be something else?

Other requirements:
- IGPU DVMT-prealloc memory set to 64mb in BIOS
- use a digital connection to the monitor (VGA not supported)
- VT-d disabled in BIOS (or use kernel flag dart=0)

VT-d disabled via dart and not supported by CPU
IGPU DVMT-prealloc memory 64 MB (BIOS)
HDMI connection (in BIOS it named HDMI2)
IntelGFX=0x04128086
ig-platform-id=0x0d220003

No luck. Still infinity boot at Apple logo.

Your profile shows you have nVidia. Keep in mind IGPU must be set primary in the case of dual-GPU.

Read here: http://www.tonymacx86.com/graphics/128226-integrated-discrete-graphics-working-together.html

Of course, your profile also indicates Sandy Bridge, which is no HD4600, so you might want to clarify your hardware.

You should boot verbose for troubleshooting.
