Well, that was certainly not how I planned to ruin my evening. I upgraded my Gigabyte Z370P D3 to BIOS F13 and bam, no more booting. No KP, no error, just hangs at RPIsensor.. something. Even my Unibeast installer didn't work anymore!
Since I don't have a second system with a M.2 slot I was pretty screwed. Thankfully @mattystonnie I found this topic you started and was I able to first change the config.plist for Clover on another Mac, then boot into the Mojave installer and open terminal. Copy the config.plist of my machine, edit it on the other Mac and copy it back. All fixed now!
I would definitely recommend making this patch default on Clover installs.
