Hello everyone,

With some effort, and the excellent drivers provided by the community, I was able to get my macOS Sierra Hackintosh fully running (with the exception of my dedicated card), with Windows in dual-boot with Clover UEFI, on my laptop.
  • Would it be possible to access my Windows desktop from macOS without having to reboot? I'm assuming it's unthinkable to do it the other way around.
And as a side-question:
  • Will it ever be possible to run my Nvidia Geforce GT 550M on macOS, with or without Optimus? I can't control my video card settings in my BIOS (UEFI-enabled).
Thank you.

I'm curious as to what the "official" answer will be to your first question.

My answer is that you should be able to run Parallels to access Windows. HOWEVER, as Windows wasn't set up via Parallels to begin with, and depending upon the flavor of same, that may not be possible. I would also suggest that you have at least 8GB RAM to do so, 16GB would be my suggested minimum as you'll need to share RAM with Windows (which runs differently and uses more resources than macOS).

As to the second question, Optimus is not currently supported at all.
