I use the orange-fix stuff from MB.
Uploaded my dsdt.aml. If someone can see what is the problem, and fix it, I'd be happy.
My auto-sleep is working, apple menu sleep doesn't.

samisnake, please!

samisnake, please!

ive never come across a situation where idle sleep works, but forced sleep doesnt.
its nearly always the opposite

pid 261(helpd): [0x0000000c00000191] 00:30:49 BackgroundTask named: "com.apple.helpd.sdmbuilding"
this is help files folder building. can take a while, but should eventually go.
pid 157(coreaudiod): [0x00000001000001ef] 00:05:41 NoIdleSleepAssertion named: "com.apple.audio.'AppleHDAEngineOutput:1B,0,1,2:0' .noidlesleep"

im gonna guess itunes was open playing music, or music was paused.

again, this issue doesnt make sense to me, as its usually the opposite.
sort the above out (close itunes and wait for sdmbuilding to finish), then check console for a wake reason when you try to force sleep

After some experimentation I have found unfortunelty the patched DSDT causes my system to hang with the "You must restart your computer" crashes? And also failed to wake from sleep?

With the original DSDT I don't have these problems, so I have gone back to using 3rd party and Blockstorage injector kexts. Autosleep still functions though :) which seemed to have been solved changing the dark wake flag from 0 to no?
Weird eh?

Apologies samisnake - it is not the patched DSDT you provided.

My crashes are linked to when i am on sound cloud playing music in safari- some kind of safari / flash player glitch? i'm using chrome for soundcloud now until this problem is sorted?

cheers Orlando

mine is OOB, from installation to resume from sleep. i don't have those issues, it is working all the time !
use GE=Y and that's it, all the ports. easier install is impossible :D

Which brand do you have?
