Doesn't sleep by itself after Mountain Lion update GA-Z68A-D3H-B3

In your org.chameleon.boot.plist, do you have darkwake=0 or darkwake=1 set? I found that in Mountain Lion you need to put darkwake=yes or darkwake=no. Or just don't have the flag in there at all, depending on your needs. This fixed auto-sleep for me. Also, your DVD drive could be preventing sleep. Having a disk in the drive can fix this.

Hi. I do have the dark wake flag = 0

I'll try changing it to yes or no and see what happens?

Thanks Does 1= yes and 0 = no ?

more updates.

With the patched DSDT, thx to samisnake
I no longer have "1" from the Assertion status pull

I was wrong about the system not sleeping by itself.
I looked from the Console and realized that it took an extra 2-3 minutes to complete the whole autosleep procedure(at least for my build it does)
here is the Log from Console, the Display was set to be turned off in 10mins and the autosleep is set in 15

we see that the autosleep was completed 7mins after the displays were turned off, instead of 5

:headbang:

having auto sleep working is satisfying dont ya think

spotlight is indexing.

if you wait long enough, should go.
or you can disable spotlight http://osxdaily.com/2011/12/10/disable-or-enable-spotlight-in-mac-os-x-lion/

when i click sleep manually, it will not sleep, and also i can not bring it out of sleep by using the keyboard at all (have to restar the machine)

dsdt attached.

all that is done, for anyone else wanting to do it, is open the dsdt off of the database in DSDT EDITOR, and apply the ACHI ORANGE SATA patch.
the editor can be found here http://olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=62
and the patch here http://olarila.com/forum/patches.php

use pmset -g assertions in terminal, and sort out anything noted.
untick "wake for ethernet network access" in energy saver options.

auto sleep can be flukey as hell though, so if it doesnt work it isnt the end of the world.
up until mountain lion, i was using pleasesleep to get auto sleep working. even real macs have issues with it, so as long as forced sleep works i wouldnt fret.

After some experimentation I have found unfortunelty the patched DSDT causes my system to hang with the "You must restart your computer" crashes? And also failed to wake from sleep?

With the original DSDT I don't have these problems, so I have gone back to using 3rd party and Blockstorage injector kexts. Autosleep still functions though :) which seemed to have been solved changing the dark wake flag from 0 to no?
Weird eh?
