Your ioreg is a terminal dump, which is not enough, use Apple's IORegistryExplorer from the first post.Hi,
Can you please tell me what exactly you did to get Audio Output detected...??
I am not able to get any outputs in my Hack.
Below are the kexts i am using :
FakeSMC.kext
NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext
Lilu.kext
RealtekRTL8111.kext
IntelMausiEthernet.kext
AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext
AppleALC.kext
._Lilu.kext
..
._NvidiaGraphicsFixup.kext
._AppleALC.kext
.
I am using GA-Z170x-GAMING7 board. I understand getting audio out of CA0132 is difficult, I will be more than happy to get audio from my HDMI.
Can you please help me out....??
Thanks in Advance.
Does the hiss also came from the headphones if you use the Switcher? Thanks so much for this. However, no joy yet. When I boot the machine with this kext in Clover, and the speakers plugged in to the line out ("m"), I can hear a continuous hiss from the speaker, but I can't get any sound out on any of the outputs if I switch through using the preferences pane.
Outputs listed in the preferences pane are (in this order):
Headphones (Headphone port)
Line out (Audio line-out port)
Line out (Audio line-out port)
Digital Out (Optical digital-out port)
Digital Out (Optical digital-out port)
So I then run your CA0132 Switcher to see if I can get anything. Again, no joy setting it to speakers/headphones or fake surround.
So it feels like we've gone back a step because I now have no sound. However, I'm sure the reality is we're closer! Let me know what further information you need, as ever.
Can you show me the GPI and GPO results with the Windows HDA utility?
Enter this to the terminal and show me the result. "hda-verb 0x15 0xf0f 0x0"
Ok, I think we have to deal with the streams. Before you change anything, try using the Apple Audio-Midi-Setup tool to see if you can use it to change the volume, assuming you're using an AppleALC with which you have sound.I'm back! Apologies for a significant gap, I've been working out of the country and away from the desktop. Can we pick up this thread again now?
Under "Parameters" we have:
GPI/O:Count 0xC00000004
- Number of GPIOs: 0x4
- Number of GPOs: 0x0
- Number of GPIs: 0x0
- GPI Unsolicited
- GPI Wake
Is this what you need?
hda-verb 0x15 0xf0f 0x0
nid = 0x15, verb = 0xf0f, param = 0x0
command 0x015f0f00 --> result = 0x01f31fc9
hOkay, that explains it then. I'm good to go, thanks again for all your help!
