Correct Drivers and Config to get working for music production (with Pro Tools)

Hi! first of all thanks for your fantastic support!
Im new at this... I have bought "compatible" parts, that are listed in the guides of the page.

-Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H-CF.

-Intel Core i7 4770K .

-kingston ddr3 16gb. pc2400 hx cl11 xmp k2 beast.

-seagate. sshd hibrido 3.5 1tb+8gb ssd (FOR WINDOWS 8.1).

-wd. hd 1tb 3.5 (FOR MAC OS).

-lg. dvd rw internal 24x retail sata black.

-coolbox cr-700 multilector usb3.0 internal.

-hiditec exagon (Box).

*Im using a USB N 150 Wireless Adaptor D-Link DWA-123.
*And a Asus MX239 Monitor.

im using integrated graphic card (i would like to use 2 displays if i can)


what are the options that i have to check in MultiBeast??

PD: i need 10.8.X because of Pro Tools. With Mavericks Works inestable...

Only version of 10.8 that works with Haswell is 10.8.5 and even there Haswell build was plagued with freezes and bugs because OS X did not fully support it. Best to use Z77 or earlier hardware with 10.8.x and earlier. Use Maveicks with Z87 hardware.

I am running Pro Tools in Mavericks with no problem, for months now on my i5 sandy bridge system. Only PT 10 uninstaller is unsupported which is why they never approved it, 11 is fully supported. I reccomend using mavericks and if you have the need to uninstall use a program like "app cleaner" and then manually remove anything else it misses. BTW i reccomend having OSX on a separate hard drive than your audio drive in case there is ever a crash and you need to reformat or something goes wrong with an upgrade. Good luck

btw 8gb ssd is not going to cut it for windows 8.1... how did you even get an ssd that small... Samsung Evo SSD and Corsair SSD are great SSD's imo...
