So, I'm installing Mavericks on the Dell Inspiron 15r - 5521 of one of my friends and there's an issue. The installation completed properly though I can't get the bootlaoder to appear. This computer came out of the box with 7 partitions all for one Windows 8. Some are only 15MBs large. Fact remains however that the BIOS only gives the option of hard disk boot without any more options, which fails, or under F12 the Windows boot manager, but not the name of the Mac Drive. I'm not sure what's wrong but Chimera won't appear and I can only boot the Mac by booting from the Unibeast Flash Drive.
I doubt that you'll need them but these are the specs:
- Intel i5
- Intel HD 4000
