Can I Use Mac and Windows on the same Hackintosh?

I have an existing gaming PC on which I would like to create a Hackintosh (on a separate SSD). I'd like to then be able to boot into either Mac or Windows. So my question is: when I'm configuring the BIOS in preparation of installing macOS Sierra, are the changes I'll be making permanent? Will they affect my ability to boot into Windows? If I need to revert the BIOS settings to the way they were in order to boot into Windows, will that then affect my ability to boot into macOS? Is this just a bad idea?

If you have two SSD's in your system, one having windows on it and the other macOS, you should be able to choose your OS from the Clover boot screen. There really is no point reverting to default settings if you intend to run macOS on your computer, unless you no longer wish to run it.
