Can I follow this guide if I haven't switched to clover yet?

I'm trying to find a clear cut instruction on how to switch, but I there is so much information regarding Chimera and Clover its a bit overwhelming. I've found this, but it seems to me that there still isn't that clear instruction I'm looking for.]

So far I've created the Unibeast El Capitan USB stick, and even booted from it. Do I just move on to the El Capitan installer at this point? Will still having Chimera cause issues? Will Installing this way just over-write chimera?

Thanks for any and all help.

Follow the instructions for removing Chimera:

You could try a non-destructive test installation of Clover to familiarise yourself before actually installing it :

After I follow that sections instruction I can move on to the installer? Will running that Terminal code completely remove Chimera in one step?

When I was upgrading to El Capitan from Yosemite, I just followed TonyMac's switching guide (removing all the kexts, then the terminal command to remove /boot and then resizing the partition; then installed El Capitan over the top of my Yosemite installation. Worked like a charm. Just carefully follow the instructions in the switching thread, then follow the instructions on how to install El Capitan using Unibeast.
