AppleUSBXHCI was not halted/waiting for root device

Ok, so I haven't yet done your variant but I came in with pretty interesting results... I used El Capitan with Clover(created it with unnamed program) and applied *loads* of boot options. I had USB connected into USB 2.0 port. I didn't get spam of AppleUSB not working but I got "Still waiting for root device" warning. I tried both USB 2.0 ports and none of them worked.
WHEN SUDDENTLY,
i connect USB to USB 3.0 and installation continues? Miracle? I'm currently installing it on hard drive and will report how it goes!

You are probably using GenericUSBXHCI.kext...
 
hi i have the same problem with my laptop hp pavilion dv6-6c45se
cpu =core i5 2450M
Graphics =intel hd 3000 + Radeon HD 7690M XT (2GB DDR5)
motherboard =chips HM65
ram =4 GB DDR3 + 4 GB DDR3
USB Port =2 USB2.0 + 2 USB3.0
i tryed all this & have the same result what should i do ?
note: i installed mac 10.10.5 with boot args: -v PCIRootUID=1 cpus=1 chimera bootloader using unibeast

This forum is for Sierra, not Yosemite.
You should start over (you're clearly not doing anything correctly)...

No. Enoch is a legacy boot loader. Cant do a direct update like you can with Clover EFI Bootloader.
