Annoying Distorted Boot Screen using HD4000 with Clover

Hi all, this is occurring right before I get to my desktop, when my integrated HD4000 graphics have just been initialized (and the screen momentarily goes black, which is normal):



It is very annoying, and to troubleshoot it I have tried:

• editing ig-platform-id in Clover config
• changing the Dual Link value in Clover config
• using HDMI instead of DVI

Is this a Clover-related issue or is it more widespread than I think?

I appreciate it, will try this later. I thought I had done plenty of research on this and other forums, but the keyword "garble" never came to mind!

The link you mention is pointing to laptop support. Would that work for a desktop?
