Aborted returned from boot.efi Catalina

I read on this thread (https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/osxaptiofix2drv-64-efi-vs-osxaptiofix2drv-free2000-efi.292320/) to never use the kext you recommended.

Any other possibilities to fix the "Error: Aborted returned from boot.efi" error?

Also, @Jithin.C.V , I don't have a CFG Lock option in bios. Is that something that can be changed in the OS or in the config.plist or somewhere?

I've looked into the Cfg Lock disabling in other threads and I've seen that it's beyond my abilities (especially since I'm using Clover, not OpenSource).

Like @nickhen, I have to reboot 4 or 5 (or occasionally 8) times and then it works. Are there other options for caches that should be rebuilt or something each time I boot?
