Cannot update and having certificate issues

Tried replacing /Library/Keychains and ~/Library/Keychains with ones from a clean install in recovery mode without any effect. For anyone finding this page, a nasty workaround is to find out your sucatalog file URL and use it with HTTP instead of HTTPS. In my case: WARNING: This may leave...

Cannot update and having certificate issues

Hi! I'm having issues with a Hackintosh install that I've been upgrading for years. If I recall correctly, I did a fresh install last time on 10.9 and been upgrading to every version since. Currently at 10.15.7 (19H2). But now I started having issues, I get an error trying to update through...

    Bluetooth not detected after update

Nope. Reverting didn't help at all. It isn't showing on the USB list at all. Weirdly enough, other adapters are showing up. Is there some blacklist of USB PIDs and VIDs somewhere?

    Bluetooth not detected after update

Update: Just checked and IOBluetoothFamily.kext has changed in the update. Trying to revert to the old one and see if it works. diff -r IOBluetoothFamily.kext/ /Volumes/OS\ X\ Backup/System/Library/Extensions/IOBluetoothFamily.kext/ diff -r IOBluetoothFamily.kext/Contents/Info.plist...

    Bluetooth not detected after update

Hi! I've been using an old 3COM USB Bluetooth adapter (3CREB96). It has been working perfectly for around a year now. But yesterday, after installing the 2015-002, latest command line tools and Xcode updates on 10.9.5, it stopped working entirely. It's not even listed at all with the...

Article: Early Adopter's Guide to Intel's Haswell CPUs and 8-Series Motherboards What else would they run with? Mavericks is still a WIP and only released as a developer preview. Also, they run a fork of 10.8.4 that come with Haswell support.

    Updated 2013-08-16: MacMan's Haswell Test Build: Core i7-4770K + GA-Z87X-UD5H

MacMan's Haswell Test Build: Core i7-4770K + GA-Z87X-UD3H My GA-Z87-HD3 and i7-4770 are on the way. Can't wait to hack some kernel to get it at least booting. And to see what kind of support the future holds :) Any ideas why the sources of 10.8.4 haven't been released yet?

    Dual Graphics Cards

I'm also curious about this. Is it possible to use OS X with multiple graphics cards and use 3 or more displays?

Intel's 4th Generation "Haswell" Core i5/i7 CPUs Previewed

Not sure about the rest of the world, but at least in Finland, most shops are running out of the old Ivy Bridge CPUs, not ordering more and the prices haven't moved. Motherboards might be a different story...

Intel's 4th Generation "Haswell" Core i5/i7 CPUs Previewed

Thanks! Maybe I'll just try to live on a MacBook until monday to decide what to do. But buying a board, like the Gigabyte one with a Z87 chip now would probably be a good option if Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de allows returning international orders without me having to pay for shipping...

Intel's 4th Generation "Haswell" Core i5/i7 CPUs Previewed

I'm building my first Hackintosh and got all the boring parts ready, except a motherboard, processor and graphics card. For the CPU, I'm getting a 4770. Are there any relatively safe options for a motherboard that would likely work in the future? I noticed that MacMan posted a test build with...
