I used these in my second map pro build after I blew the 60+ bucks on the sas/sata adapter in my original one. Happy accident finding them as they seem to only be made for the 540 carbide air case but they almost exactly match the mounting tabs on the mac pro cable. Power and sata cables are...
Or just ditch the mac harness entirely and get four of these,

They fit the mac hot swap brackets almost exactly screw rignt in with the original screws and no messing with the expensive SAS/SATA adapter.
I am currently working on a Mac Classic Mod and would like to make the boot loader for Clover look like the classic OS 9 boot screen. I have done this for Chameleon/Chimera but have no idea where to start for Clover. There is no information on how to do so anywhere on the internet it seems...
I am going to be having the same issues with my Mac classic mod
I ordered this LCD TV

and ordered the HDMI to VGA adapter hoping it would solve them
Got a decent picture with VGA on my test rig...
Just got this combo myself. Can't wait to try it. Rather than using the ugly plastic antennas I want to use the built in ones in my Mac Pro case. Will it still work?
Anybody having sound issues read the posts. Yosemite handles audio differently. You now have to set 'internal speakers' under preferences and manually add the sound icon to the menu bar.
I ended up having to load the ALC892 kexts from Multibeast 6.1.0 to get sound on my GA-Z87MX-D3H...
Article: UniBeast: Install OS X Yosemite on Any Supported Intel-based PC
I am about to update this board myself and would like to find the fix as well. :)
This helped me a lot! I thought the actual power button lit up when pressed and the message light just flashed when something was wrong or at start up. thought the power button LED didn't work but just had my wires crossed. Still a little disappointed the button itself doesn't light though...
We do this at work all the time.
First we copy the dmg to an exfat formatted flash drive.
Then we copy the dmg to the desktop of a functional OSX machine.
Then we use Disk Utility to repartition the flash drive to HFS+
Then restore to create the bootable flash by using the dmg as target...
Yes! And it was the EASIEST yet! I made my unibeast flash in 10.7.5 Did a clean install to a new 500GB HDD, ran multibeast with user DSDT then used my time machine backup to restore my files and programs. I'm a little sad I have to repurchase ilife and iwork from the app store because it...
Finally fixed the issue with a clean install and was able to safe boot into Mountain Lion. Had to boot with Unibeast USB and use XMove for the install. Now to see if I can get through Multibeast.
All are checked. The panic seems to happen with NullCPUPowerManagement but I can't google the fix.
Here is the panic message.

Intel virtualization is disabled. I also tried switching ram to 4gb 1333ghz. Bios settings were changed to optimized defaults. I have used the usb drive to install ML on another system without a hitch so it's good. Bios is F2, the latest I can get without going F3 (beta). Board and processor...
Great Job! This was the final step in having a totally functional Mountain Lion hack on my GA-X58A-UD3R board. I had already found the PXHCD.kext and loaded it but still no usb3 ports till I found your post. Deleting CalDigitFastIO.kext, CalDigitHDProDrv.kext and CalDigitUSBxHCI.kext worked...
