How to make a custom bootloader for Clover.

I am currently working on a Mac Classic Mod and would like to make the boot loader for Clover look like the classic OS 9 boot screen. I have done this for Chameleon/Chimera but have no idea where to start for Clover. There is no information on how to do so anywhere on the internet it seems. Any help?
