Would it be a possible option to "force" Chimera to write the USB boot file directly to a 4K (advanced fomat) drive as these drives are becoming the standard. It's an annoyance rather than a problem that lots of new hackintoshers, but an option to do this directly this would be nice. Pete

The 4540s has very easy access to its "changeable" components (memory, hard drive, wifi card, wan card etc) and there's a few good video guides on the HP site on how to get to and swap out these parts here...
