It all went well! Only need the AppleHDA RollBack. For people who is using RAID like myself, do note you may want to update the Combo Cache after the installation.
I think in general this should work with your card. The only thing I would watch out for is the PCI address for your system. I had two cards, which is on PCI bridge 3 and bridge 7 respectively. Now, you can use IORegisterExplorer to find out exactly where your card is, and replace the one in my...
I think I know exactly what your problem is (hopefully :D)...It can't find the DSDT.aml you put in your /Extra folder. Thus leading to no-show for Snowl-Leopard or Lion.
I had the same issue before. After trail and error for 2 days., I found that one need to specify where the DSDT.aml is in...
The following is speaking from my experience. I haven't done mass test with two of my machines, but here are my observation and success with sleep and wake:
I will start a new thread based on these observations:
Rule 1: if you are suffering from CMOS reset:
Symptom: go to sleep is fine...
Interesting. Do you have DSDT in your system? Depends on which version of Chameleon you are using, Chinmera should be superior in term of integration.
Any logs??
true that...:)
I think the issue is that Lion requires a 64bit CPU, which yours is only a 32bit..if my memory serves me well. I do see some discussions on booting Lion using 32bit and maybe those tutorials could clear things up a bit.
Here are some related links and Good luck...
Hey, setting up RAID could be hectic. Here is a good scripting tool provided by digital_dreamer. It allows you to customize boot helper partition and install mach_kernel and other necessary components. I have benefited from using it when setting up my RAID with Lion...
Then try log in as single user (-s). Navigate to /System/Library/Extensions/ and delete things that related to RTxxx.kext, repair permission, and reboot. If the problem is as you described, this should be able to help.
Let us know.
You could search for the NVCAP and Memory size for your card and put them in your UserDSDT under PCI0 in the format like this:
Red highlights are where you need for your own card.
Device (PEG1)

Can you go to Console.app and see what are the printouts for such issue?
If you really want to repair permissions, boot into single mode (-s). and
sudo mount -uw /
diskutil repairePermissions /
and see if this helps.
Re: Cant change resolution - Palit GeForce 9500GT Super passive
Please check you com.apple.Boot.plist and see if you have GraphicsEnabler=Yes in there. It seems that Lion is not using Nvidia drivers for your card.
Also, when boot, use -v, and see if there is any string like NVGAXXXHAL is...
try boot into safe mode using -x when the Chimera screen shows up. And revert you network driver from there.
You screen capture suggests limited information. Can you post more in order for us to help?
After fixed the permissions, I haven't seen and random KP up until this point. The console msg has been much cleaner without all the errors for mdworker. The lion is stable for my case. Will keep eyes on it, but am not expecting wired behaviors. Good luck with yours. :)
