[Guide] HP Elite 8300 & 6300 Pro (all form factors) using Clover UEFI hotpatch

Still Doesn't Work.....
See this post for the usage of "PciRoot (0x0) / Pci (0x1f, 0x0)".
The menu is displayed on Clover r5119, but the menu is not displayed on Clover r5122 and OpenCore 0.6.1.

I tested the HP6300SFF Mojeve because it couldn't boot with OpenCore 0.6.1,
but
Catalina works fine with OpenCore 0.6.1.

With the setting Misc-> Security-> SecureBootModel = Disabled, Mojave can also be booted with OpenCore 0.6.1.

Anyone who have SIMILAR HARDWARE CONFIG as mine, you can test my OC 0.6.1 config. Just copy paste it to your efi. And don't forget to change serial number, uuid in SMBIOS.

Everything works. Tested on Big Sur Beta 7.

HP 8300 SFF
i7-3700
HD4000

DO NOT FORGET TO HAVE BOOTABLE USB WITH YOUR CURRENT WORKING EFI.

Thank you i will test it on my 8300 i7 3770 with second SSD and Big Sur USB install :)
btw will it boot with my GT710 on it or has to be from the onboard Intel Graphics?

Hello! Is there any chance to install Catalina on an encrypted AFPS disk? I have installed MacOS without problems on a normal AFPS partition, but, when I select AFPS encrypted, the installation process simply reboots.

Use the onboard Intel HD4000

that's bad news :( im using dual monitors one of them is my 60" led tv but ill try it on the onboard one now have to find my old display to HDMI adaptor :)

You need to switch to OpenCore as Clover doesn't allow for Security features such as *encryption* :(

Noted. Thanks for the info!

I guess I'll have to try with Opencore then :D

It was removed from the thread for a few reasons. Primarily it still contained the unique serials and smUUID in the config.plist. This is not acceptable because many people copy/paste the EFI and fail to change that info. Then many use the same info for their build and it creates conflict with Apple and Apple IDs. So if anyone wants to post a complete EFI folder it must have all serials and smUUID removed first.

@jayeecb, wondering if you cud post without smuuid / serials :)

Simply delete "PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1b,0x0)" to enable the GPU.

Please refer to the attached config.plist for installation.
