I until the last remained on the MacPro 6.1, I has already tried everything. Previously, starting with OCX 10.7 10.8 used the designation 5.1 Then with OSX10.9 switched to 6.1 - now in order for vega64 to work properly in High Sierra it was necessary only to return to the configuration 5.1 - OMG!!! ))))))) It working!) Tnx for idea!)

That's great to know. It may have something to do with the fact that 5,1 has actual PCIe slots compared to 6,1, but I could be wrong.

@NelsonCarvalheiro can you try 5,1?

Early I was happy ... With key MacPro 5.1 FCPX saving in h.264 codec files works, everything happens smoothly on the timeline, but when i turn on the stabilization, all the light bulbs on the card light up again, supposedly there is a rendering, but the mouse moves but the rest of the picture hangs and nothing works ... Yes , and in Google Chrome the mouse sometimes jerks. I think this is somehow related to the USB drivers that were updated in the High Sierra, maybe I'm wrong ... With the update 10.13.3, the miracle did not happen ...

Use VDADecoderChecker to verify GVA support and check AppleGVA info.plist, MacPro5,1 does not supported by AppleGVA, without VDADecoder and HW encoder, FCPX share/export H264 should work without HW acceleration.

How to check it? Is there an instruction? The file VDADecoderChecker I have. Tnx!

Thanks for the idea. I will try today in the evening. Report back later

I also want to trey the 10.13.4 Beta as now it already recognizes the gpu directly.
