I was in OC 0.6.5 & Big Sur 11.2 - my WiFi was working (TL-WDN48000 - Atheros AR9380 chip).
When I updated to OC 0.6.6 & Big Sur 11.2.1 & WiFi did not work. OS can see the WiFi card, but cannot connect.
After a bit of research, somehow the sequence of AirPortAtheros40.kext & HS80211Family.kext...
I've managed to upgrade from 10.14.6 to 10.15.2. However, my Dell P2415Q cannot do 4K anymore. Stuck with 1080p in Display Setting!
I guess I'm one of the few who still use HD4600 HDMI to HDMI (Dell) for display connection...!
[Edit] my 2 hours effort to custom build SSDT was rewarded! USB3.0...
Another update!
Gigabyte states the board can support upto 16GB of RAM. Info is old!
So I tried 2x8GB + 2x2GB to fill up all 4 slots. Total of 20GB RAM & the system is running okay. Time is limited to few hours, but so far so good.
My H55M board had been running 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance for few years. Recently, the system have few crashes. I used Rember to isolate the problem to 1 of the 2 RAM sticks.
Gigabyte web site does not state any compatibility info on 8GB stick! Info on internet is "try at your own risk".
So, I...
Well, 10.14.1 broke the USB3.0 ports. I took the effort to learn custom SSDT. After 2 hours of reading & trying, I've managed to setup a working custom SSDT.
All 4 USB3.0 ports in the rear do not use HSxx port. They use SSP3 to SSP6!

After 10.9.1 was successfully installed on a SSD, I put back the 1T hard drive with Windows7 & Ubuntu partitions.

Just a quick update!
10.9.1 is successfully running on the new GA-H87-D3H mobo & i5-4570 CPU. I've also managed to use "Migrate Assistant" to restore all apps & system state from TimeMachine. I'll monitor the system for few days for stability.
