My H55M board had been running 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance for few years. Recently, the system have few crashes. I used Rember to isolate the problem to 1 of the 2 RAM sticks.
Gigabyte web site does not state any compatibility info on 8GB stick! Info on internet is "try at your own risk".
So, I tried! I bought a stick of Apacer 8GB DDR3L stick (P/N AU08GFA60CATBGJ). The system manages to boot up without any error. So far so good!
H55 is old, but still running & stable.
