You can do both, for clean install, run disk utility and wipe the OSX partition before installing.

Thanks for the advice. I looked a bit deeper into geekbench scores, on there website it shows averages. and I'm within 1000 of them. So I guess the people I saw with higher scores were using the 64-Bit version. MT

Try using the on board graphics and see if you can get to the installer then you can know if its your graphics card thats causing the spinning issue.

What kexts are you using?

I belive those cards use realtek chipsets. Try installing a realtek wifi kext

Also you could buy a snow leopard disk and install that first.

You can add " PCIRootUID=0" to your boot plist. I belive there is an option in multibeast.

You need to install a bootloader from multibeast. Using easybeast; or if you just want to install the boot loader its called chimera.

Try unplugging all usb devices after you start the installer.
