I've done my research but am still a bit confused about DSDT's.
I've flashed a patched BIOS to my Asus P8Z77V-LE.
I extracted and complied my DSDT, and copied it to the /Extra folder. But it seemed to do nothing?
I used samisnakes guide, but there was no patches available on the website provided.
I currently have my machine working pretty much perfectly without DSDT.
I would like to use a DSDT to get the most out of my system, in geekbench i'm getting 11.5k, when systems similar to mine are getting 15k-17k.
1. Can I just extract my DSDT and use it that way, or do I need patches?
2. How can I tell i'm using a DSDT, with -v it flashes up too quickly?
3. Is it possible to fix my sleep and graphics card problems with a DSDT? (As these are the two issues i'm having)
4. Would i have to do a kext cleanup before installing a DSDT?
5. What is a SSDT?
Thanks,
MT
