Hi!

I did my clean install in this brand new system. I already set, using MultiBeast, GraphicsEnabler=Yes and PCIRootUID=1.
Now the only way I can boot, is starting in Safe Mode (-x). Otherwise, I can't boot my system, I'm always stuck at Apple Boot white screen and I have no idea what to do.

Please, please someone can help me out? Or have any ideas?

Inside safe mode, I also think I don't have sound, since I don't see any input/output devices in System Preferences.

Have you run and installed the latest installation of Multibeast and installed the appropriate Kexts/drivers/Chimera bootloader onto the hard drive? Once you have installed and get into OSX via Safe Mode, that is what you should do. If your settings are correct once installed you won't need to run Safe Mode at boot time. If they are not, press space when you see the Chimera bootscreen and try the following combinations:

-v -f

-v -f GraphicsEnabler=yes PCIRootUID=1

As such the Multibeast settings do vary between boards. I would suggest you search for the forum guides and see if others using your board had any success before with ML (like this one > http://www.tonymacx86.com/user-buil...-build-core-i7-4770k-ga-z87x-ud3h-hd4600.html) If they have (say had it working in Mountain Lion), note down the settings they've used then select the appropriate ones in Multibeast.

That was my initial guide, but I didn't saw the update.

I did my installation according to tonymacx86 Guide, using Multibeast 6.0.0 and Unibeast 3.0.0. And then I follow Dasdf's build for Multibeast.

Today, I saw the Dasdf's update, and I open Multibeast and install the new build (Dasdf's), but I still get stuck in Apple Boot screen. I don't know (and how) If I have to remove any drivers/build, before installing this one.

Should I re-install the OSX Mavericks with Unibeast 3.0.1?

boot with -v GraphicsEnabler=No IGPEnabler=Yes and see where it gets stuck. I don't think you need GE=No or IGPEnabler=Yes since I think those are now default with the new releases of Uni/Multibeast but it doesn't hurt to include them.

I wasn't even able to get past the Apple Boot screen to install MultiBeast.
After you've installed Mavericks, leave the USB stick in, boot from it and you should see the menu with USB and Macintosh HD or w/e you called it. Make sure your Mavericks install is selected and before hitting enter type -v -x. Safe mode should allow you to boot in to your OS X install and from there you can install Multibeast.

It sounds like a good idea. But you may need to simply adjust some BIOS settings to get yours going > http://www.tonymacx86.com/99-quick-guide-configuring-uefi-gigabyte-s-7-series-lga-1155-boards.html. Or simply try to use one or the other graphics card. I would suggest double-check the settings again from his guide.

I have been experiencing difficulties getting past certain screens on my boards. At the moment in Dasdf's guide he uses an Intel on the Gigabyte. On my Gigabyte Z77X-UP5-TH I am trying an Nvidia GTX 560. The Intel works with -v -f GraphicsEnabler=yes PCIRootUID=1 but the GTX 560 Ti has issues. I had read somewhere using GraphicsEnabler=No NPCI=0x3000 PCIRootUID=0 might help. Whereas on my Asus P8Z68 V Pro board, I installed it straight from my Nvidia card using GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1 booting with my stick, but had problems with my Intel.

In my experience these are the common settings you need to change in BIOS for it to work:

HPET On
XHCI Off
Intel VT-d Off
EHCI On
EFI Boot Mode On
Internal Graphics On - 64MB RAM - DVDT Max
Intel Virtualisation On

Well, I've installed Mavericks all over again, but I still can't boot without using: -x -v GraphicsEnabler=Yes PCIRootUID=1

I've checked the BIOS tutorial and your advice, but I can't find some settings, HPET and EFI Boot Mode On. And the VT-D shows enabled, but it's blocked. You say to turn OFF, XHCI, is it the XHCI hands-off or XHCI Mode?

When I try to booth with -v -f GraphicsEnabler=yes PCIRootUID=1 .... I got this:

When I try to booth with -v .... I got this:

When I try to booth with -v -f .... I got this:

I have no idea what I can do. No boot, no sound, no graphic card and I also don't know why it shows 3.89Ghz on CPU, I didn't OC.

I don't know what else I can do, install different builds, but still can't boot. Any thoughts? I'm getting a little desperate :banghead:

Okay so try it like this:
- Make a USB installer with UniBeast, afterwards copy MultiBeast to the USB stick (for your convenience, also download the MultiBeast config file I uploaded for you and put it on the USB stick)
- Use SquadSeven's BIOS config (I modified it slightly):

1. Update the motherboard's BIOS to version F7 via Gigabyte's homepage. I actually did it using the @BIOS tool that Gigabyte provided via Windows 8 before I started to hackintosh it.
2. Enter the Bios and Press F2 to load the Classic View
3. Press F7 to load optimized default values then proceed to change it.
3.1. Under Peripherals > xHCI Mode, change it to AUTO
3.2. Under Peripherals > xHCI Hand-OFF, change it to ENABLED
3.3. Under Peripherals > EHCI Hand-OFF, Change it to Enabled
3.4. Under Power Management > Wake on Lan, change it to Disabled.
3.5. Under BIOS Features > Boot Options, change it to your boot disk but pick the one that starts with P2 or some number like that.
- Do not select the UEFI version else you will get the missing operating system error.
4. Save and Exit Bios.

- Make a clean install of OS X Mavericks
- After installation has finished, boot from the USB installer and choose your Mavericks partition in the bootloader (boot with -v -x)
- Run MultiBeast and use EXACTLY this configuration (either use my config file which you downloaded before and open it with MultiBeast or do it manually):
Quick Start > DSDT Free

- Restart your PC, boot from the Mavericks partition with -v
- Post a picture of the screen if it doesn't work
