Good evening! Today I've build my fist Hackintosh! I've installed Yosemite according to this tutorial

and was able to do everything until I landed on the desktop then I ran MultiBeast and Chameleon and shut down the system upon completion. However, when rebooting the Unibeast symbol of my drive comes, the loading bar goes backwards and an apple logo appears and then the screen goes dark and nothing happens... What can I do?

Thanks :)

i am having a very similar problem. i followed the tutorial on the website for Yosemite got it all up and runny not a problem in the world then i ran multibeast and when i restarted my computer it starts chimera and i select yosemity pops up with the apple logo then restarts and its a continual loop no matter what i do. i have reinstalled Yosemite 5 times now trying different things and still same result every time.

my system is
CPU: intel 4790K not overcolocked
Motherboard: GA-Z97x-UD5H-BK
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 32GB
Hard drive: Samsung 850 Evo

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Try booting verbose -v and see where it gets hung up. Take a picture or video of the
screen if it doesn't stop long enough to read.

i got it to work. the solution was to not instal chimera. that means you have to leave the usb in but so far its working great. now for what ever reason i cant get my computer to recognize my asus PCE-AC68. if any one has any suggestions please let me know.

P.S. the light on the PCE-AC68 turns on

Ok please see attached. -v results in the screen stopping at "PCI configuration begin".

If I boot with -f, npci=0x3000 or cpus=1 it will go the Unibeast logo screen but nothing happens until the screen goes black.

The only way to bot the system is to type in "-v npci=0x3000 cpus=1 -f" and then after 5 minutes of lines I'm finally at the login window.... So that is issue no.1 - the boot process....

PROBLEM 2: Sound. As said in the tutorial with the same motherboard I installed Without DSDT ALC892 audio drivers with multibeast and tried running chameleon afterwards. Still no sound card detected and no input/output cards in my system preferences... What can I do? Sound is very important since this will be my audio workstation!

Thanks ver much!
